Zeke

Zeke is a fun loving, very energetic wee man who fits the characteristics of a typical border collie. He loves zooming around the house with his big foster canine brother but equally is happy playing by himself on the lawn with a stick or leaf! Zeke is growing up with cats in his foster home and they are teaching him the boundaries of canine/feline relationships! He's doing great at daycare, gets on with all the other dogs and LOVES to play. He is respectful of the stock and horses, and while he isn't living with sheep or chickens, he's happy to watch the neighbours but moves away when asked and shows no agression towards them, just curiousity. With the right introductions, we are confident he will be fine with them. He's shown no interest in pukekoes, turkeys or other wild birds he passes when out walking.

Zeke is smart and has basic commands like sit, down and shake which he learned very quickly. He is looking for an active, fun loving family where he has room to grow and play. He'd be a great agility or parkour dog as he's super confident on his feet and so quick to learn. Zeke loves company. If you're in the garden - he's there helping, if you're in the paddock, he's right beside you, if you're inside, he's snuggled up nearby. He would do best with someone who works part-time or from home so he can have the company he loves. Or he'd do great with a canine brother or sister to hang out with during the day. He loves country living and would be suited to a lifestyle block or rural setting. He's happy to run behind the quad bike and would be great company if you're out on a horse or want a running or cycling buddy.

Homes must be owner occupied (unless in exceptional circumstances) and Zeke must sleep inside and be a family pet.

A donation of $300 applies which covers vaccinations, de-sexing, micro-chipping, flea/worm treatment and registration with the council and on the NZ Companion Animal Database.
